Student housing veterans James Pullan and Sam Ball have launched new residential investment advisory business Beachrock.
The duo have a combined 30 years’ experience in student housing.
Pullan was previously a partner at Knight Frank and established the student team which handled £1bn a year in business through more than 20 agents. Ball was head of property transactions at Fusion Students and was also an associate partner at Knight Frank prior to that.
Beachrock will provide a range of advisory services in residential investments, from acquisitions, strategy, financing and disposals.
The pair, who founded the business last September, have now brought their first scheme to the market. The 1,655-bedroom Jewel Portfolio has a pricetag of £200m.
The three Crown Place schemes comprise 374 student beds in Cardiff city centre, 576 in Portsmouth and 705 in Norwich city centre.
