Student Roost has appointed Ashling Fox as managing director.
Fox will oversee the Student Roost management team and work closely with Greystar to deliver the business’s growth agenda by creating an optimised platform through asset and operational enhancements.
She joins from Bromford Housing, where she was chief customer officer, responsible for building safety and business transformation functions for Bromford’s 46,000 homes and more than 100,000 customers. Prior to that, Fox was deputy chief executive of Peabody.
Student Roost was acquired by GIC and Greystar for £3.3bn in December 2022 and has more than 26,000 beds covering key UK student cities. The venture leverages the collective expertise of Greystar and GIC in the living sectors and Student Roost’s local operational knowledge.
Fox said: “Student Roost is a trusted brand for student experience, and I look forward to working with the Greystar team to deliver our growth plans to help address the student housing shortage.”
