US law firm Sullivan & Cromwell has secured a seven-year lease regear with landlord GG Capital at its 67,000 sq ft London headquarters.
GG Capital, a real estate private equity firm, bought the building at 1 New Fetter Lane, EC4, in 2017 from UBS on behalf of a client.
David Wilson, director of CBRE Investor Leasing, said the regear indicated “the continued attractiveness of London for large international companies, who continue to seek high-quality, amenity-rich space in the capital”.
Karl Abawatt, a founding partner at GG Capital, added: “This is an important asset management initiative for us and plays testament to the resilience of the central London market.”
CBRE acted for GG Capital on the renegotiation.
