Summix Capital and Evolve Estates have been granted planning consent for a 625-bedroom student scheme in Bournemouth town centre.
The partners secured consent for the development on land adjacent to the Richmond Gardens car park.
A planning application was initially refused by Bournemouth Borough Council in March 2019, but won consent from the Planning Inspectorate on appeal.
Stuart Black, development director at Summix Capital, said: “The site will attract students wanting to enjoy the benefits of a town centre location, close proximity to one of the UK’s favourite beaches and easy links to Bournemouth’s superb higher education institutions.”
The scheme is Summix’s first in Bournemouth. The approval follows recent success in Bristol and Edinburgh.
