It’s becoming a bit of a habit having a sunny autumn day for Estates Gazette’s annual Southampton Focus reception. The weather was so beautiful, the sunglasses came out and full use was made of the terrace overlooking the marina at the Royal Southampton Yacht club.
And it wasn’t just the sunshine that was making everyone smile, there is plenty going on in the Hampshire property market to keep everyone busy. Lack of office stock is a concern but it’s a nice concern to have and there was talk of rental levels rising. Likewise, the industrial market is on the cusp of seeing speculative development – a positive sign.
However, the biggest grins of the day were reserved for Lambert Smith Hampton which, once again, picked up the Most Active Agent title in the EGi deals competition.
