Superdrug and JJB Sports have taken a total of 2,657 sq m (28,600 sq ft) at Scottish Widows’ refurbished Queens West Shopping Centre in Cardiff.
The chemist has signed up for a 927 sq m (9,978 sq ft) ground floor unit on two co-terminus 20-year leases. The combined rent is £425,000 pa, reflecting £160 zone A.
JJB Sports, meanwhile, has taken a 1,730 sq m (18,622 sq ft) unit above the new Superdrug unit on a 25-year lease at a rent of £250,000pa.
The new stores have been created by remodelling the 8,640 sq m (93,000 sq ft) centre to increase floorspace by 3,716 sq m (40,000 sq ft).
