The number of homes for sale remained flat in November, the ninth consecutive month that supply has failed to rise, figures from the RICS.
Buyer enquiries increased slightly during the month.
A net balance of 14% of surveyors expect prices to rise over the next three months, while a net balance of 40% expect a rise over the next year across the country, excluding London.
