Survey shows lower house prices more widespread

Almost a third of the U.K. is seeing a fall in house prices, according to a survey by Hometrack for the Financial Times.

That’s a sharp increase from less than one in five postal districts in spring this year. The latest data covers the three months to the end of November.

In the capital, a quarter of housing districts have falling prices, up from 5% previously.
