Sussex shed soars in value

Clayton-Manor-Burgess-HillPalace Capital has sold a warehouse in Burgess Hill, West Sussex, for a £1.25m premium on the March valuation.

Unit 1 at Clayton Manor, Victoria Gardens was valued at £690,000 at the time it was originally bought as part of a £32m portfolio in August 2014.

The property covers 16,100 sq ft and has 43 parking spaces. It has been vacant since its acquisition from Property Investment Holdings.

The unit was sold to David Cover & Sons in February, with completion delayed until the purchaser obtained planning permission for the site to be converted to use as a builder’s merchant.

Flude Commmercial and Vail Williams acted on behalf of Palace Capital.
