The owner of the Vancouver Island getaway where use and Duchess of Sussex spent Christmas and New Year has been named as billionaire Frank Giustra.
The 12,000 sq ft waterfront property at North Saanich formally belongs to the Towner Bay Country Club, which owns all 27 properties on Towner Park Road.
When the homes are bought and sold, the buyer purchases shares in the club rather than the property so that their name doesn’t appear on the title which, which is a public document.
According to the New York Post the owner of the house is Canadian financier Frank Giustra.
