Baffin’s (formerly Dusco) Gracechurch Shopping Centre in Sutton Coldfield has been the focus of a flurry of letting activity.
High Street fashion chain Next has trebled its presence at the 495,157 sq ft (46,000 sq m) scheme, by taking over the former Principles unit. A new 15-year lease has been agreed on the 10,000 sq ft (929 sqm) store.
Beatties department store has also increased its presence in the retail centre by adding a further 8,611 sq ft (800 sq m) and Marks & Spencer is considering extending its store at the scheme.
Elsewhere at the scheme, Bodycare has negotiated a rent of £115,000 pa on a 2,600 sq ft (241 sq m) unit and Cheltenham & Gloucester Building Society will pay £90,000 pa on a 2,000 sq ft (185 sq m) unit.
