A London investor has paid more than four times the guide price for a residential opportunity in Battersea, SW11, at Savills’ 28 October sale.
The buyer paid £260,000 for a passageway guided at £55,000. The 900 sq ft space between 38 and 40 Northcote Road, which has consent for residential use or an artist’s studio, was one of 131 lots to sell out of 177 offered, reflecting a 75% success rate.
The sale, which raised a total of £45m, took place at the Marriott Hotel, W1.
