Essential Living has been granted planning consent by Ealing Council for its £200m redevelopment of the former Elizabeth Arden factory in west London.
The plans for the Perfume Factory in Acton, W3, comprise 534 private rental homes and 70,000 sq ft of commercial space, 53,000 sq ft of landscaped gardens as well as a dedicated family block.
The Squire & Partners-designed scheme, which is near the Old Oak Common regeneration area, will be delivered over several phases.
Martin Bellinger, chief operating officer at Essential Living, said: “This highlights the growing ability of the build-to-rent sector to provide renters with a new service-led offer that treats them like customers.”
