Scottish Widows Investment Partnership has sold its stake in Talbot Green retail park in Llantrisant to National Farmers Union Mutual for £43.8m.
SWIP acquired 50% of the units in the Jersey property unit trust for a 5.8% yield.
The open A1 retail park, which totals 145,000 sq ft, is let to retailers including Marks & Spencer, Next, Boots, Sports World, Outfit, Clarks, River Island and New Look.
Patrick Knapman, partner and head of out-of-town retail investment at Cushman & Wakefield, which acted for SWIP, said: “Securing the successful sale of an effective 50% interest in this prime shopping park on behalf of SWIP is a great result, particularly in a market where few such transactions are capable of being structured.”
Chapman Petrie advised National Farmers Union Mutual.
