Systime, a subsidiary of Control Data Corporation of the USA, want to assign the remaining 39 years of their 40-year lease on a 21,000-sq ft hi-tech unit, Aztec West 400, on Electricity Supply Nominees’ Aztec West development north of Bristol.
The passing rent on the lease is £126,000 pa.
Systime were one of the first companies to take space on the 2m-sq ft mixed development scheme. However, although they are seeking to assign, the company are to remain at Aztec West and will be taking smaller workshop space rather than the current unit, which agents Lalonde Bros & Parham describe as “office type”.
The premium being sought for the leasehold interest is not being disclosed and the details of Systime’s new space are still being negotiated.
