Syzygy Renewables has appointed Ellandi founder Mark Robinson as non-executive director.
Founded in 2009 by former Ashtenne fund manager John Macdonald Brown, Syzygy Renewables is an independent renewable energy consultancy.
Robinson said: “Generating renewable energy for on-site consumption is becoming increasingly important to landlords and tenants as they deliver their sustainability strategies, but also as they seek to mitigate pricing risk in the energy market.”
Macdonald Brown, who is Syzygy’s managing director, added: “Mark’s entrepreneurial vision, having built Ellandi up from a standing start to being the UK’s fourth-largest shopping centre owner, and his progressive approach towards sustainability issues, will prove invaluable to our business.”
