Talks begin on Superdry sale

New York-based investment firm David Kempner is in talks to take over struggling high street chain Superdry.

Sky News reported that the firm was in early talks with Julian Dunkerton, the co-founder of Superdry, but that a deal was not guaranteed.

Superdry, which operates around 200 stores worldwide, has seen its share price decline significantly over the past year as it warned on profit and appointed PwC to investigate a potential restructuring of the business.
