Britain’s largest privately owned construction company has shored up its finances until 2022 after months of negotiations with banks.
Laing O’Rourke had attracted attention recently for being more than two months late in filing its UK accounts as it struggled to finalise fresh funding.
Ray O’Rourke, chief executive, said: “Financing and regulatory processes in UK construction are not simple for any business at present. The entire sector has been impacted.”
