care-home-THUMB.jpegTarget Healthcare REIT has exchanged contracts to buy a purpose-built care home in Sutton-in-Ashfield, Nottinghamshire.

The purchase price will be £5.6m including acquisition costs, with the transation completing in April 2017 once the build has been completed.

The 66-bedroom home will be leased to Oakdale Care Group and subject to a 35-year lease with RPI-linked cap and collar.

Kenneth MacKenzie, managing partner of Target Advisers, said: “The transaction brings our total funds committed since our May 2016 fundraise to circa £75m. We continue to progress other opportunities.”
