Tata signs deal for new HQ

Tata Technologies has struck a forward funding deal with Universities Superannuation Scheme (USS) for its new European headquarters based in the West Midlands.

The duo have exchanged contracts on the deal, believed to be at circa £19.3m – a yield of around 6%

The Webb Gray-designed building will be based at Tachbrook Park in Leamington Spa. Work has started on the 63,000 sq ft scheme and completion is due early next year.

Tata will relocate from its existing operation at Coventry University Technology Park in the city. The new HQ will house the firm’s engineering support services and research & development teams.

Tata Group owns Jaguar Land Rover.
