The Tate has warned that it might have to shut its St Ives, Cornwall, gallery if protesters succeed in their campaign to stop its expansion.
The gallery wants to expand its cafe and gift shop as well as increase display space and build an extension on a car park.
Opponents say the plan will worsen the town’s parking shortage and take business from other traders.
