Uber is close to agreeing a deal to lease 40,000 sq ft at the Aldgate Tower, E1.
The taxi company will take the 30,000 sq ft ground floor of the 317,000 sq ft, 17-storey building, plus 10,000 sq ft in the basement.
It will pay a rent of £48 per sq ft and joins Tag Worldwide as the second tenant in the building.
The Aldgate Tower was speculatively developed by Aldgate Developments and completed last year.
