Taylor Wessing is to sublet part of the fifth floor at its Midtown office to fellow law firm McGuireWoods London.
The firm, which is currently based at 11 Pilgrim Street, EC4, has agreed to take 14,700 sq ft at 5 New Street Square, EC4, for five years at £66 per sq ft.
Taylor Wessing continues to occupy floors 1-5 and floors 9-10 at the property, totalling 116,205 sq ft, according to Radius Data Exchange.
The building is also home to law firms Stewarts and Boies, Schiller & Flexner, as well as legal technology company Opus 2.
Dan Peyton, managing partner at McGuireWoods London, said the firm believed the building “will be a great new home for our London team”, adding: “We look forward to creating a best-in-class legal workspace to continue our growth trajectory in a familiar Midtown location for us.”
