Taylor Woodrow has bought 4m shares, just under 5%, in Y J Lovell, paying around 133p per share. Although TW has said that the purchase is an investment, the market is scenting a possible takeover bid. Last month TW raised £162m through a rights issue, saying that it wanted to buy property companies.
