TBI believed to be about to quit Coventry Airport deal

TBI, the property and airports company, is said to be on the verge of pulling out of talks to buy Coventry Airport which could jeopardise Parcelforce’s proposed £100m distribution centre next to the airport.

TBI is reconsidering the deal because of excessive demands by Coventry City Council. A formal announcement of the company’s withdrawal is expected imminently.
