Tech guru Morgan heads for BL

Cushman & Wakefield partner and tech trailblazer Juliette Morgan is set to join developer British Land in May.

Morgan, who was brought on board to boost Cushman & Wakefield’s technology offer in 2014, was instrumental in the creation of Europe’s first proptech accelerator PiLabs.

She will be joining BL this spring as head of campus at its Regent’s Place development in Euston, NW1.

Before joining Cushman & Wakefield, Morgan was previously head of property at Tech City UK, where she was responsible for advising the UK government on its property strategy and policy initiatives to accelerate growth in tech start-ups in east London.

Morgan said: “The opportunity to join a world-class team with assets at the heart of Europe’s knowledge centre is exciting. After a career defining few years at Cushman instigating PiLabs and latterly the Futures Group, I’m returning to my roots in development and asset management.”

Digby Flower, head of London markets and chair, UK & Ireland, at Cushman & Wakefield, said: “Juliette has played a key role in furthering Cushman & Wakefield’s position as the agency leader in tech since joining us in 2014.

“While we are naturally sorry she is moving on, we look forward to working together closely in her new role at British Land.”
