TEGoVA, the European Group of Valuer’s Association, has released for public consultation its new valuation standards.
The 2000 edition of the European Valuation Standards will update the 1997 version which has been translated in 13 European languages. The group expects the standards will also help the evolution of national practice in newer economies such as eastern Europe.
The draft text of the new standards can be viewed on the group’s webste at www.tegova.org where comments can also be submitted. The final document will be launched in November.
