Telefónica UK takes AirW1 space

O2 owner Telefónica UK is taking three floors at The Crown Estate’s AirW1 scheme.


The company is understood to have struck a deal for around 70,000 sq ft in the 204,445 sq ft building.


A rent in excess of £80 per sq ft is also rumoured to have been signed.


As revealed by Estates Gazette, along with AirW1, Telefónica had shortlisted two other buildings as preferred HQs: Land Securities’ 123 Victoria Street, SW1, and Terrace Hill’s One Howick Place, SW1.


Cluttons is advising Telefónica. CBRE and Jones Lang LaSalle are joint agents on AirW1.
