Telereal Trillium’s chief executive Graham Edwards is to become executive chairman, with joint managing director Russell Gurnhill taking on the chief executive role.
Under the new executive structure, Adam Dakin, also formerly joint managing director, takes on a new role as managing director with responsibility for new business and services.
Graeme Hunter will continue in his role as group property director and Michael Hackenbroch will continue as group finance director.
All of the mentioned members of the executive team will report to Graham Edwards, who has been chief executive since the company was formed in 2009 and will continue to oversee the strategic direction of the company.
The changes coincide with the conclusion of Telereal’s 20-year PRIME property outsourcing contract with the Department for Work and Pensions on the 31 March.
Telereal said the reshuffle was in line with the company’s increased appetite to find and complete on new investment opportunities, to invest in its own estate, particularly in the areas of strategic land and residential development, and to continue the effective management of its existing £6.5bn property assets and strategic property partnerships with BT, Aviva, DVLA and Royal Mail.
Edwards (pictured above) said: “This restructure has been planned for some time and will deliver a coordinated and appropriate response to the changing demands and priorities of our business.
“We have a highly experienced team in place to identify and create value for our stakeholders, deliver great service to our property partners and contribute to the government’s housebuilding targets in the areas of strategic land and residential development, while continuing to own and manage one of the UK’s largest property portfolios.”
