Telford sees largest speculative deal in five years

South Staffordshire Enterprises has taken the 4,936 sq m (53,142 sq ft) Axiom factory and office building at Stafford Park, Telford, in the town’s largest speculative letting in five years.

The company – a subsidiary of South Staffordshire Water Holdings – is paying £239,139 pa on a 20 year lease, with a break after year 15.

Developer Stafford Park Developments – a subsidiary of NIG Sheridan Properties – built Axiom in Telford’s enterprise zone.

“This shows increased confidence in Telford as a place to live and work,” said Rod Rosson, Inward Investment Manager of Telford Development Agency. “The stock of available properties is declining all the time and there is now a need for further speculative building in the area.”

Bulleys and Chesterton acted for Stafford Park Developments.
