Tenants courted for flagship Midtown office space

Part of Arundel Great Court is coming onto the leasing market. The private overseas investor that bought the flagship building for around £140m in 2000 represented by Dawnay Day this week appointed Nelson Bakewell and Farebrother to market the 104,000 sq ft, 2 Arundel Street, WC2. Last year, Accenture surrendered its lease at the building, and the property will now be refurbished. The refurbishment will be completed by next March, and Nelson Bakewell’s head of West End agency, Tracy Collins, said: “We can provide a flexible functional economical space in a central location for which there is significant demand.” Prime rents in the area are in the high £20s to low £30s per sq ft, but Collins added: “We will be flexible with quoting rents. It depends on the tenant’s standard of specification.”
