Waverley Square Developments has secured prelets on 90% of the 13,000 sq m (140,000 sq ft) Westgate Retail Park in Wakefield, West Yorkshire.
The two remaining units – totalling 16,72sq m (18,000sq ft) – are close to be being let, according to joint letting agents King Sturge and Arundel Williams and Surplice. Leases are for 25 years with five-yearly rent reviews and rents are in excess of £113.02 per sq m (£10.50 per sq ft).
Tenants include Toys R Us, which will be the first to open for trading in September .
The adjoining 6,503sq m (70,000sq ft) leisure centre is also fully let to among others Cine UK, First Leisure (bingo), Pizza Hut and Burger King.
