Tenants signed at The Blade

Aviva Investors has secured two new tenants at its 83,388 sq ft The Blade office development in Reading.


Hays Recruitment and research outsourcing firm Rocsearch have signed for 11,095 sq ft between them across part of floors six and seven.


Both have agreed 10-year leases with a five-year break option, paying £29 and £28.50 per sq ft respectively.


Julian Cobourne, fund manager at Aviva Investors, said: “We are sensing a far more positive attitude creeping into the Reading property market early in 2013.”


Knight Frank, Parkinson Holt and Cushman & Wakefield are letting agents at The Blade; Hays was unrepresented; Haslams advised Rocsearch.
