SEGRO has instructed Colliers and CBRE to let its logistics park in Northampton, a 5m sq ft industrial scheme with a new strategic rail freight terminal, adjacent to junction 15 of the M1.
The site’s facilities range from 250,000 sq ft up to 1.3 m sq ft in a single building, which can be delivered for occupation from the final quarter of 2023.
Simon Norton, director of industrial and logistics at Colliers, said: “Its onsite rail freight interchange and strategic location undoubtedly provides a clear competitive advantage for occupiers, with its easy access to the major motorways, ports, railways and airports.
“In addition it is only four miles from Northampton town centre, with a local working population of more than 500,000 people, so it has a good local labour supply.”
