Tenpin bowling group plans strike on smaller rivals

Ten Entertainment Group is planning to strike cash-strapped rivals by picking up spares in a major expansion.

The UK’s second largest tenpin bowling operator, which operates 46 venues, said that in addition to acquiring existing bowling centres it would redevelop retail and leisure units.

Over the course of the pandemic the company has renegotiated seven leases, securing rent holidays in exchange for an extension to lease terms. It also agreed short-term deferrals and waiver periods on several other properties.
