Terrace Hill gets outline consent for Eastbourne scheme

Developer Terrace Hill has been granted outline consent for a 107,000 sq ft industrial and trade counter scheme in Eastbourne, East Sussex.

The speculative development in Brampton Road will include 33,000 sq ft of trade counter space, with seven units ranging from 2,500 to 5,000 sq ft.

Nigel Wakefield of Terrace Hill expects rents for these to be £11 per sq ft.

There will also be 73,550 sq ft of industrial space, ranging from 5,000 to 20,000 sq ft.

Terrace Hill is offering the freehold on these units at £110 to £125 per sq ft, depending on the size.

The 20,000 sq ft unit is an existing facility built in 1999 the rest of the scheme will be new build.

The development should be completed by late 2006 or early 2007.

“We are already in active discussions,” commented Wakefield.
