Terrace Hill plans Manchester offices

Aberdeen Asset Management has appointed Terrace Hill as development partner on an 80,000 sq ft office scheme in central Manchester.

The developer is working up plans for a new eight-storey scheme on the site of the 50,000 sq ft Oddfellows House at 40 Fountain Street in Manchester’s central business district.

Aberdeen is fund manager for Xerox Pension Fund, which bought the 1960s-built island block for £6m in 2000. Existing leases within the building expire in September 2013.

Terrace Hill will submit a planning application early next year.

p3 Property Consultants and WHR Property Consultants are the scheme’s development consultants and letting agents.
