Terrace Hill secures Victoria office/retail lettings

Terrace Hill has let more than 22,000 sq ft of office and retail space at its recently completed 60,000 sq ft mixed-use development at 129 Wilton Road,  SW1.

Energy company E.ON UK has taken 19,857 sq ft over the 6th, 7th and 8th floors at rent ranging between £68.50 amd £72.50. It has signed a 10-year lease.

Coffee and sandwich shop chain Pret a Manger has signed to take a 2,179 sq ft ground floor shop at an annual rent of £100,000 (a zone A rent of £82.09). It has agreed a 15-year lease.

Five floors of offices totalling 8,000 sq ft each remain vacant in the building.

Chief executive Philip Leech said: “To have secured lettings to two significant tenants is very encouraging. In E.ON, we are delighted to have attracted such a prestigious company, which we believe is a strong endorsement of the quality of our development.

“Attracting such a popular brand as Pret a Manger will help to breathe life into the building, as well as providing a facility that will benefit other occupiers in the surrounding area.

He added: “We believe that the combination of the quality that we have created and the continuing strength of the Victoria market, where occupancy levels remain good, offers an excellent solution for occupiers.”

Cushman & Wakefield and Edward Charles & Partners acted for Terrace Hill.
