Tesco buys two stores in Somerset

Tesco is buying two stores in Somerset.

Tesco will pay up to £4.9m in shares for the 743 sq m (8,000 sq ft) store in Lympsham and a 1,486 sq m (16,000 sq ft) store in Burnham owned by Sanders Supermarkets.

Tesco will initially pay 846,170 of its shares, worth £3.9m, with the balance to be paid if a review of the Sanders Supermarkets balance sheets is satisfactory.
