Tesco has largely exited the US market after completing the sale of the bulk of supermarket Fresh & Easy’s operations to Yucaipa Companies’ YFE Holdings.
The sale comprises 150 shops and Fresh & Easy’s Riverside distribution centre.
Shops not included in the deal will be closed in the coming weeks.
Fresh & Easy made its US debut in 2007.
