Tesco could have found a buyer for its loss-making video-streaming business Blinkbox, with TalkTalk the likely frontrunner.
An announcement could come next week, when Tesco’s new chief executive, Dave Lewis, presents the results of his strategic review of the overall business. As part of this he is expected to announce the retailer’s exit from peripheral activities.
Talks regarding Blinkbox are still continuing, however, and any deal might still fall apart, according to two people familiar with the situation.
