Tesco has secured planning permission for a 900,000 sq ft distribution centre in Reading.
The planned delivery shed and vehicle maintenance unit will sit on the former Heineken brewery site in Whitely, by junction 11 of the M4 and A33.
Reading and Wokingham borough councils both approved the project. The warehouse is expected to be open by Christmas 2012.
