Tesco is restructuring its distribution network in the UK, closing its Chesterfield and Welham Green sites.
The closures will reduce the number of distribution centres to 23. In total 1,015 people will be made redundant, although 533 new roles will be created across the network.
The retailer will also end a warehousing agreement with DHL and Wincanton. The changes are expected to be completed by June.
