Transport for London has filed planning applications to develop three sites in Nine Elms, Northwood and Parsons Green.
TfL plans to build 600 homes on the sites, as well as office, retail and restaurant space.
The applications are the first phase of TfL’s planned construction of 10,000 homes on 75 sites, as it looks to raise some £100m to invest in transport in London.
