TGI Friday’s is to make its debut in Leicester at Hammerson’s Highcross shopping centre.
The restaurant is to take 6,600 sq ft in the St Peter Square dining quarter and will open in late spring.
Since rebranding away from a solely retail destination St Peters Square has welcomed brands such as Byron, Carluccio’s and more recently Bill’s.
Sarah Fox, head of restaurants and leisure at Hammerson, said: “At Highcross, to ensure the shopping experience for our customers continues to be the best it can be, we have successfully reinvigorated the catering offer available to meet demand and so TGI Friday’s is a natural choice for St Peters Square.”
