FINANCE: TIAA Henderson Real Estate has appointed David Turner as head of European Investment.
Turner, who joined TH Real Estate in 2009, was previously manager of the company’s €900m (£709.7m) European Retail Fund and director of the £1.2bn European Outlet Mall Fund, and sits on the investment committee. He will focus on growing the company’s existing £2.3bn portfolio of European real estate.
Prior to joining TH Real Estate, Turner managed Cornerstone’s €1bn Nordic Retail Fund.
He will replace Anthony Butler, who announced last week that he will be leaving the company at the end of this year.
