The Collective’s VP of investments to return to Greystar

Adina David, vice president of investments at The Collective, is to return to Greystar after 12 months at the co-living developer.

David was previously an investment associate at Greystar for two and a half years focused on build-to-rent, student accommodation and alternative housing acquisitions.

David left The Collective at the end of last month. During her time there she was responsible for new acquisitions, investor relations, transaction management and growth strategies alongside investment director Jill Ju. She has worked in real estate investment for 10 years.

Her departure comes at a challenging time for The Collective, which has struggled with delays at its largest scheme in Canary Wharf. It has ambitious growth plans, seeking to deliver 100,000 home by 2025.

Greystar is rapidly growing its UK portfolio of 3,500 BTR homes and 5,600 student beds, with recent expansion into Ireland, as well as key UK cities including a deal to acquire Birmingham’s first BTR skyscraper at One Eastside.
