The GLA has launched its second iteration of the London Development Panel with 29 new developers.
The previous panel was set up in 2013 with 25 developers. Notable omissions to the new panel include Places for People and Taylor Wimpey.
Public bodies in London can use the LDP to choose developers for public land they own.
TfL will be bringing forward three car parks through the panel – at Canons Park, Rayners Lane & Stanmore in Harrow – each of which will offer a scheme that is 100% affordable. City Hall will be referring St Ann’s Hospital in Haringey to the panel.
Enfield Council will be putting an early phase of Meridian Water into it, the 725-home Meridian One.
James Murray, deputy mayor for housing and residential development, said: “Public land has a vital role to play in tackling the housing crisis, and the new London Development Panel offers public land owners a quicker and more efficient way to bring their sites forward.”
