The Quadrant, Swindon, finally let to Lucent Technologies

Lucent Technologies Network Systems (UK) – which last year took the 7,432 sq m (80,000 sq ft) Galileo office building at Windmill Hill, Swindon – has now signed up for most of the nearby Quadrant building.

The 6,093 sq m (65,560 sq ft) Quadrant office building was completed speculatively by Maple Oak in 1991, but has been unoccupied since then. Lucent has taken a 15-year lease with a break subject to substantial penalties on 4,123.8 sq m (44,390 sq ft) at a rent of £150.70 per sq m (£14.00 per sq ft).

Knight Frank and King Sturge advised Maple Oak. Richard Ellis acted for Lucent.
