The Rushes gets trio of new lets

Realis Estates has secured three lettings at The Rushes shopping centre in Loughborough.

Argos has agreed to take a 4,200 sq ft shop on a five-year deal, whilst Muffin Break has signed up for 1,300 sq ft store for 10 years.

HMV has committed to the 1,900 sq ft shop it has occupied since late 2009 for a further five years.

The trio join tenants including Marks & Spencer, TK Maxx, JJB Sports and LA Fitness.

Duncan Mathieson, managing director of Realis Estates, said: “These latest deals fit perfectly with our strategy of bringing some of the country’s best-loved brands to Loughborough town centre.

Argos and Muffin Break are both important additions to the line-up at The Rushes, while HMV’s decision to commit for the long term is a real vote of confidence in the scheme.

“2010 is shaping up to be another strong year at The Rushes, with these lettings following on from the opening of a new Tesco store a few months ago.

“We have a number of additional deals currently in the pipeline.”

BWD acted on behalf of Realis Estates.
